    • Separate detection of specific antibodies against pertussis toxin PT and filamentous haemagglutinin FHA:

      • The EUROIMMUN Anti-Bordetella pertussis Toxin ELISA (IgG) is based on native, highly purified PT, which is only produced by B. pertussis. Cross reactions with B. parapertussis or other bacteria can therefore be excluded.
      • The EUROIMMUN Anti-Bordetella FHA ELISA (IgG) is based on native, highly purified Bordetella FHA, with which infections with B. pertussis and with B.-parapertussis can be sensitively detected.

    • ELISA (IgA, IgG): quantification in international units (IU/ml) – a worldwide first for the detection of FHA antibodies
    • Anti-PT IgG titers ≥ 100 IU/ml are a clear indicator of a Bordetella pertussis infection.
    • A reliable interpretation of results is only possible around one year after vaccination.

    Incubated Anti-Bordetella pertussis EUROLINE
    • Application: Determination of human antibodies of immunoglobulin classes IgA and IgG against the Bordetella Pertussis antigens FHA, PT and ACT for the serological diagnosis of whooping cough.
    • Antigen substrate: Membrane chips coated with individual lines of purified, biochemically characterised antigens. A separate membrane chip is used for each antigen to optimise the detection procedure.
    • Sample dilution: serum or plasma; 1:51 in universal buffer.
    • Test procedure: 30 min / 30 min / 10 min, room temperature
    • Automation: The test can be performed on all commercially available blot automation systems. Computer-supported evaluation of results with the EUROLineScan program.
    • Test kit format: 16 membrane strips.
